Graduated from a medical school, Mr. Guo, the owner of the restaurant, has been a medical researcher at the University of Tokyo for ten years. His prowess in medicine makes him highly knowledgeable in a healthy diet, which also explains a particular emphasis on less oil, salt and sugar but more vegetable proportions in offerings of the restaurant. In normal occasions, Mr. Guo would share with guests his knowledge in a healthy diet. He is a keen advocate of a mixed diet composed of “meat, carbohydrates, vegetables and fruits each for one third”, which is highly consistent with today’s conceptions on a healthy diet. If time permits, Mr. Guo would personally make health-preservation soup for guests.

 

With respect to the future of the restaurant, Mr. Guo will focus his effort on offering more Chinese-style cuisine and building a cozier dining environment to repay the support of local guests.
